Coping With Exam Stress
Exam period is upon us once again, some of you may have already gone and sat a few exams but some may have your exams coming up soon. The worries have begun, the night before cramming and a bedroom covered in your exam notes. Here’s a couple tips how best to cope with the stress -
There is no doubt a bed is where you dream to be, not a desk. Avoid under the duvet revision sessions. Tired minds are unlikely to absorb new information anyway.
Recognise when things are really starting to get on top of you and do something about it. A break, a long walk or a chat with someone who knows what you’re going through will help ease the pressure.
Be serious now, are you really going to spend three hours on a Friday night revising the periodic table? The answer is probably not. Little and often is the way forward and remember to fit in your favourite TV show, everyone needs a break.
