0The Race – British Grand Prix 2012
Hamilton, qualified eighth overall, after Q2 was red-flagged for 90 minutes because of the treacherous conditions around the famous Northamptonshire circuit. Hamilton’s colleague Button went out in the first stage of qualifying after posting only the 18th fastest time of Q1. The other Brit competing in the race today Paul Di Resta qualified in 11th – with the British contentions spread equally about lower down the grid will this hamper the chances or will the British weather provide a better race opportunity.
